MISLA’s Coding Bootcamp is designed specifically for aspiring web designers to learn how to develop and maintain company websites. Students learn web design software and how to utilize industry hacks to build innovative websites for local businesses. By the end of the Bootcamp, students learn to collaborate with local businesses to create a published website.
Middle Schoolers at Boys Academic Leadership Academy in South LA will learn coding by building low-cost websites for local South LA businesses. In partnership with VSEDC (Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation), BALA students and MISLA volunteers will collaborate with VSEDC businesses to develop their websites.
